As part of our project Media Smart: Youth Against Disinformation, funded by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, we successfully organized a three-day training workshop on Media Literacy, Digital Verification, and Recognising Manipulative Content, held from 10–12 July 2026 at Brezovica.![]()

The workshop brought together young people, giving them the opportunity to deepen their understanding of media literacy, learn to recognize disinformation and manipulative content, and build practical skills in digital verification. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and lectures led by experienced journalists and media professionals, participants explored the value of critical thinking and responsible media consumption in today’s digital environment.![]()

Beyond the sessions themselves, the workshop offered a space for networking and the exchange of experiences, fostering new connections among young people and encouraging dialogue and cooperation across communities.

Anđelija joins NSI as Project Officer. In this role, she will support the coordination and implementation of projects, contribute to project development, and work closely with the team on advancing NSI’s mission. ![]()

Anđelija brings over five years of experience in civil society, with a strong background in project coordination, community engagement, and support to civic initiatives. Through her previous work, she has contributed to activities focused on strengthening participation, cooperation, and dialogue among different communities. ![]()

Tijana joins NSI as Media and Project Intern, supporting the team with project activities, research, communications, and daily organizational work. ![]()

She is a recent graduate from the Faculty of Law, and is currently pursuing an LL.M. Tijana also brings experience in media, having worked with different media outlets, where she developed skills in communication, content production, and public information. Through her internship, she will contribute to NSI’s project implementation, outreach, and communication activities. ![]()

👤 Anes Demirović | Research and Program Intern![]()

Anes joins NSI as Research and Program Intern, where he will support ongoing project activities, research, policy analysis and project implementation. ![]()

He is a student at Columbia University in the United States, studying Political Science and Human Rights with a focus on international law. Anes brings experience in advocacy, youth engagement, and work with international organizations, including the United Nations. At NSI, he will contribute to research, program work, and civic engagement activities. ![]()
