Dialogue on the Normalization of Relations between Belgrade and Pristina

The project research team will work on drafting two documents on topics that, according to the announcements, are part of the negotiating agenda in the latest phase of the Bissel Dialogue – missing and returnees and the status of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

The overall goal of the project is to encourage an open and dynamic society through constructive dialogue and mainstreaming of the attitudes and needs of Kosovo Serbs in the process of the Dialogue on Normalization of Relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

Specific objective 1: Increase the accountability of the negotiating parties towards minority communities and include the needs of Kosovo Serbs through an in-depth analysis of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue process;

Specific objective 2: Contribute to the improvement of policies concerning non-majority communities by identifying specific problems from various topics of negotiations in Brussels.

Research activities will include desk research, 10 interviews, 4 focus groups and one expert round table.

Project duration: 6 months (15th July 2021 – 15th January 2022)
