Website Improvement and Maintenance Services
Type of contract: Service Contract (SC) or Special Service Agreement (SSA)
1. Background:
New Social Initiative is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to enhance and maintain its website to provide a seamless user experience. The website serves as a platform to disseminate information, share stories, showcase galleries, and connect with the network of Trustbuilders.
2. Objectives:
The main objectives of this project are as follows:
- Upgrade the platform with enhanced features to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Incorporate updates and recommendations from the Kosovo Trustbuilding Forums.
- Update the stories section, including both internal and external stories.
- Refresh the gallery section.
- Expand and update the network of Trustbuilders.
- Add a “Report a problem” option to facilitate user feedback and issue resolution.
3. Scope of Work:
The selected individual or firm will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conducting an assessment of the current website to identify areas for improvement.
- Developing a plan for website enhancement in consultation with NSI
- Implementing upgrades and updates to the website, including but not limited to:
- Updating the menu section with enhanced features.
- Incorporating recommendations from the Kosovo Trustbuilding Forums
- Updating the stories section with both internal and external stories.
- Refreshing the gallery section to showcase relevant content.
- Expanding and updating the network of Trustbuilders.
- Integrating a “Report a problem” option to facilitate user feedback.
- Testing the website thoroughly to ensure functionality and user-friendliness.
- Providing training to NSI staff on website maintenance, if necessary.
- Providing ongoing maintenance and support as needed.
4. Deliverables:
The deliverables for this project include:
- A comprehensive plan for website enhancement.
- Upgraded website with enhanced features.
- Updated stories section, gallery, and network of Trustbuilders.
- Integration of the “Report a problem” option.
- Documentation and training materials, if applicable.
6. Proposal Submission:
Interested individuals or firms are invited to submit their proposals by 01.08.2024. Proposals should include:
- A cover letter introducing the individual or firm and highlighting relevant experience.
- A detailed plan for website enhancement, including proposed methodologies and timelines.
- Proposed budget, including breakdown of costs.
- Examples of previous work/portfolio.
- Any additional information deemed relevant.
7. Evaluation Criteria:
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Experience and expertise in website development and maintenance.
- Quality and comprehensiveness of the proposed plan.
- Alignment with the objectives and scope of work.
- Demonstrated understanding of the organization’s needs.
- Cost-effectiveness of the proposal.
