NSI and the Municipality of North Mitrovica signed a memorandum on the improvement of the eSevernaMitorvica web portal
The memorandum was signed by the Mayor of the Municipality of North Mitrovica, Milan Radojević, and the Executive Director of NSI, Jovana Radosavljević.
With the MoU, the two sides expressed their intention to work on further improving the web-portal dedicated to the work of the Municipality of North Mitrovica, first by sharing information and municipal documents with the public, but also by training two municipal officials to create content and maintain the web-portal together with NSI.
In the coming period, in addition to the already existing mechanisms of electronic participation of citizens in the work of the municipality, such as the system “System 48” and “Ask the Mayor”, NSI and the Municipality of North Mitrovica will be working on developing a system for electronic consultations on draft municipal acts – ” e-Participation ”.
We remind you that “System 48” and “Ask the Mayor” were established in November 2018 in order to give citizens the opportunity to send a request or question electronically, either to the municipal administration or the Mayor’s Office, and receive an answer as soon as possible.
So far, eight requests have been sent through “System 48”, while 25 questions have been sent to the mayor. The web portal http://www.esevernamitrovica.com/ was visited by 10,930 users 36,420 times.
Active monitoring and participation in the work of local self-government by citizens is a prerequisite for making decisions and policies that will be in line with the interests of the majority of the population of North Mitrovica and NSI calls on all citizens to use legal and other opportunities to have their opinion recorded and heard.
