The New Social Initiative (NSI) is excited to announce the launch of the third #LTLChallenge—an open call to citizens, civil society organizations, and informal groups to submit innovative proposals in order to addressing issues within their local communities. So, what exactly is the #LTLChallenge?
The #LTLChallenge is an initiative primarily designed for citizen groups who refuse to be passive observers when it comes to local community issues, but are ready and willing to offer ideas and solutions.
Who’s eligible to participate?
We encourage civil society organizations, socially engaged and inovative individuals involved within non-governmental organizations, as well as concerned citizens who recognize the challenges within their local community and are ready to take action into their own hands. To win the #LTLChallenge and receive the support, be sure to submit your application by 20th of October 2023.
To qualify for participation, you must meet the following criteria:
- Form a team comprising a minimum of four members.
- All team members need to between 16 to 60 years old.
- Demonstrate motivation among team members to actively engage in the #LTLChallenge.
- You need to have a desire to contribute to building a better environment for family, friends, neighbours, and fellow citizens.
- You need to have an idea of how to do it.
Proposals and ideas will be evaluated based on the following conditions:
- Your initiative should be implementable within a three-month timeframe.
- The initiative should have a clear focus, with defined objectives and measurable outcomes.
While ideas should tackle community challenges, they need to be limited to the following areas:
- Enhancing local public spaces
- Promoting ecological initiatives
- Encouraging cultural endeavors
- Advancing sports-related projects
- Supporting volunteerism
Please be aware that priority will be given to initiatives addressing broader community issues, projects involving multi-ethnic teams, and first-time applicants.
How to Apply:
To submit your application, please complete both the #LTLChallenge application form and the corresponding budget form, available below:
All applications should be sent to office@newsocialinitiative.org with the subject line “Application for #LTLChallenge3_Name of the Initiative.” It’s important to note that the maximum budget allocation per project is €2,000.00.
