Building Capacity for Better Community – Supporting establishment of Community Forums in Municipality of Zvečan and Municipality of Skenderaj

Project overall goal is to increase local government transparency, responsiveness and accountability through citizen participation in Community Forums in municipalities of Zvečan/Zveqan and Skenderaj/Srbica. 

Result 1: Eighteen Community Forums were formed and at least 40 members of CFs have increased their knowledge on identifying community needs and conducted action planning and project prioritizing exercises;  

Result 2: Channels of communication and cooperation between municipal authorities and Community Forums are initiated. CF successfully advocated Municipality for implementation of eighteen small scale projects;

Result 3: The public is informed about the success of community forums through the produced educational/informative content. Also, representatives of other municipalities are informed with the importance of forming CFs in other municipalities;
