Kosovo Trust Building Platform

The overall project objective is to build a multi-purposed virtual space that would allow the discussions on solutions for trust-building to continue. The platform also represents a next step in the process of ‘localization’ of the trust-building, from UNMIK-driven process to the locally owned initiatives. In May 2018, with the support of UNKT, UNMIK gathered 120 participants representing a broad cross-section of Kosovo society, including grassroots actors, media, youth leaders and municipal leadership from both majority and non-majority communities, to exchange perspectives on building trust.
The main outcome of this Trust-Building Forum (TBF) is a list of 135 recommendations covering the areas of: Good governance and access to services, Access to justice, Inter-religious trust-building, Economic empowerment and environment, Media and communication and Education.
